Automotive/Front End Alignment

Question
Does it put miles on your odometer when you have a front end alignemnt? I'm sure this is a stupid question...

Thanks

Answer
No, a 'Front End' alignment has absolutely nothing to do with your vehicle's odometer. However, aligning a vehicle's Front End after having installed new Tires, will add miles to the life of those Tires. An improperly aligned Front End can seriously shorten the amount of mileage you'll get out of any Tire, and could cause the vehicle to be difficult to handle on the Road, if the alignment is off by a significant amount. Always have the vehicle's Front End aligned when the front Tires are replaced, as the 'Front End' is aligned for the Tires that are on the Vehicle at the time of alignment.
