Automotive/Keyless Remote Programming

Question
Hi Sean

I need to program my key fob(s) for my nissan pathfinder '98. I have some instructions and read other similar ones that tell me to close and lock the doors, put the key in and out of the ignition 6-8 times. When the hazard lights flash, hit the button the remote.

My problem is that the hazards never flash. I can put the key in and out very slowly up 10 times and nothing happens.
I try to reset, by unlocking the door with the power lock on the door and try again. Still nothing with my hazard lights.

Any ideas?

Thanks alot

Answer
yea this is a problem,my advice is to find a good auto alarm specialist, not the dealer, and ask him to do it for you ,persoanlly i stay away from the electronic gadgets theyre too much trouble,,,,,my opinion is theyre more trouble than they are worth i like the old fashioned way ,walk round the car and open the door,,,,as for alarms they generally last 2,3 yrs then they go haywire,,,,,seen em cause all kinda problems even on new cars,,,sorry i cant do more for you ,,,,,,,,,,
