Automotive/Radio volume

Question
In my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, when I turn my lights on, the volume and sound quality of the radio goes way down. Turn lights off, and everything works great again. What is this.

Answer
Honestly i have never seen this and have no idea why this happens. If its a standard factory radio then i would suggest going to the dealer for info.If its a different radio someone has fitted then it may be in the wiring.Either way,you need a good electrician to cure this problem.
