Automotive - Repair Cost Question

Expert: Ron Cris - 12/21/2007

Question
We are considering purchasing a 2000 Hyundai Elantra.  It needs alignment and right front boot. It also appears to need general brake repair.  How much would that cost?

Answer
Unless you are buying REALLY CHEAP..I wouldnt buy it.
Those are despoable cars..They are nothing but trouble after 100,000k I prefer Hodna or Toyota when it commes to economy cars...
repair for brakes is usally about $200 if you dont need new rotors..
CV boots..I usally replace the entire axle..Buy a rebuilt axle.
Good luck
