Automotive/Subaru Wagon Steering Problem

Question
2005 Subaru Wagon steering keeps locking to the point that the key cannot be inserted.  We tried moving the steering wheel in both directions and that did not work.  Have had it in the shop numerous times, they say it is my fault.  They say the only fix is to park every time with my tires perfectly straight.  I was finally able to unlock steering this last time by finding a strong guy to getin and really torque the steering wheel for me.  But lets face it, that will not always be an option.  Please tell me there is another fix.

Answer
park with the wheels straight?..thats a new one.lol...theres really a problem with the steering lock and im thinking you must have it fixed as these things never improve, only gets worse so.Take it back to the dealer and MAKE him fix it...Is the car under warranty?...Contact the head office as i have known this works better than these dealers.they dont wanna fix it cos its a big job...Your lock and mechanism need replaced probably. This usually happens when the car gets older its just not fitting correctly.Im sure if you contact other Subaru owners they wont have this problem.
