Question
i own a J reg automatic Suzuki Alto, which was recently broken into. they stole the steering wheel.  just wondering what you would recommend- is it fairly straighy forward purchasing a new wheel and attaching it myself or is it a job for the experts? are all steering wheels fitted with standard sized fixtures?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Answer
Does your car have an airbag?...if so then leave it to the experts,if not its fairly straight forward to change the wheel.Get one in the junk yard or dealer but not every car has the same fitting a lot of the threads may be diferent so you will have to get the one for your car or a similar one ,,,,,accesory shops have sport types .You cannot fit any wheel from another car it has to fit properly.A lot of cars have the switches etc built around the steering column so it must be the right one.
