Question
I have a 95 chevy 1/2 ton and it will not shift into overdrive, but shifts through other gears with no problems
Most pre 92 chevys used mechanical overdrive but your truck will have a electronic change up so it may be a faulty solenoid.You need to have it looked at by a tech.You didnt say how many miles are on the tranny so it may be a simple job or if you have high mileage it may need rebuilt.
