Question
On changing fuel filter on 2003 silverado chevy truck. What is the best way to relieve the pressure on the fuel line and do I need any special tools to remove the line from the filter

Answer
To relieve the pressure, remove the fuel pump relay and turn the engine a couple of turns.Or,if your car has the shrader valve on the fuel rail, remove the dust cap and push the valve in with a small screwdriver. No special tools required as they are snap in fittings ,just be careful that both ends are fully clicked in before starting the engine or the fuel goes everywhere(high pressure). If you are not sure then dont work with it, as it is extremely dangerous with gasoline.
