Question
i have a 94 dodge dakota, first i had to change the thermostat cause it over heated, after that i discovered it had a leak in the hose comeing off the pump so i replaced that and the gasket.after that i tried to start it and it wouldnt start the starter made a loud knocking noise,im not sure what that was but i know it wasnt good.so after a new starter it still wont start (but no knocking)when i turn the ignition over i get nothing but a click like the battery is dead but its not i tested it and i also bought a new starter relay and nothing!im totally stumped, please tell me you can help.

Answer
Though your Truck is fairly new, it is possible that you have a corrosion build-up on one of the connections, either at the Battery Terminals, or at the Starter itself.

Also, you say you tested the Battery. If you simply did a Hydrometer test, you may not turn up a bad battery. The definitive test would be a 'Load Test', which requires a 'Load Test Meter.' If the Battery passes both a Hydrometer test, and a 'Load Test', then I'd check the connections, and the Cables themselves.
