Question
everytime i pull into my parking lot, a few feet before i stop my car, i put in neutral and just turn it off. the car is automatic. when i stop the car, then i put it in park and take the key out. my question is: will this affect my car engine in any way?

Answer
first off,,if you stop the engine and the cars still rolling, you got no power brakes, power steering,or any ability to stop suddenly example if someone walks out,so not recommended.also your transmisiion will suffer because it isnt advisable to run the car in neutral,,,, ever.so,stop, park then shut it off.
