QuestionI forgot to mention that when the car is not hot, the starter movement is fast and the engine can start. But if i turn off the engine when it is hot and then try to start it again after a few seconds, that's when the starter movement becomes very sluggish and the engine cannot start. So does that mean that the starter is not strong enough to move fast and start the engine when it is hot?
There was once when i drrove my fiat for about a few minutes and brought it back to my house. I removed the cylinder cap and saw smoke coming out of the cylinder head. I got worried and called my mechanic and asked him what to do, and he told me that i put back the cylinder cap and let the smoke come out from the hose connected to the cylinder head. Why? What could have caused that smoke?
Cylinder oil is leaking into the radiator
AnswerIf you have oil in the radiator then the head gasket is gone. The smoke is probably exhaust gas also from the head leaking into the crank case. This is why the car turns slowly because of the excessive pressure from coolant in the cylinders.I assumed the engine was running ok,but as you say the oil in the coolant is definately the head leaking.
