If the torque converter has been overhauled, it takes more transmission fluid to fill it. It takes 6 quarts of dextron 3 or higher grade tranny fluid to fill up the Probes cd4e transmission completely. The cause of the whine is insufficient fluid going through the turbine in the torque conver. If you have put in this much transmission fluid, make sure you do not have a leak. DO NOT OVERFILL! 6 quarts exactly.
