Automotive/faulty fuel reading?

Question
I have a 96 Dodge Neon

It seem that I am getting a faulty fuel reading.

Look like it is eating alot of fuel. However, I had a Dianositic test , tune up, smog test. All is normal.

Could it be a faulty fuel sending unit or what do we call it? Does it has to be repair by mechanic. Where is this part located at?

Answer
When you say it uses a lot of fuel, does it or have you tried to compare the actual mileage compared to the amount of fuel in the tank.I mean use the trip and see what youre doing per gallon,,these cars should be in the 29,32,mpg and if you have a faulty sender unit it is in the tank ,,a job for a mechanic not a simple task.
