Question
ive got an r reg astra deisel , and the heater stops working on its own, ive checked fuses but cant locate the motor to check the connection plug isn;t corroded , can you help please

Answer
The blower motor is usually under the dash.Up under the dash about the middle of the windscreen. Some cars have them under the hood but i believe this model has it inside. It may be a job to get at.You didnt say what year this is.Also check the sender unit on the thermostat. If fitted.
