Question
hi hows things my question is i have a 98 bmw520i and its started to cut out the revs just stop when i slow down

Answer
Sounds like the EGR or a PCV blockage.Check all vacuum lines and if it doesnt help ,look at the idle air control or the MAF sensor.Disconnnect the MAF  sensor first and see if the idle speeds up if it does then thats the problem. The MAF is in between the air filter and the throttle body.
