Where is plug to check automatic transmission fluid on my 1998 chevy Malibu with a 3100 engine
It is on the passenger side of the transmission at about 5 00 oclock position looking in at the transmission from the passenger front wheel.There will be a small bolt just above the pan, to remove ,and filling is done from the red vent cap on the rear of the transmission on the top.Remove the bolt until the fluid runs out then its full.
