Question
there is a vw golf gl i am interested in but it has 162,000 miles on it . my ? is how many miles should this engine go?
How much service work has been done on it?Has the car been maintained well?.Usually in my experience this is about the limit for VWs,,especially the Golf.I personally would be thinking its time to rebuild the engine or find a car with less miles.Too many miles for this car im afraid.Theyre not known to go as many as the japanese engines,hondas,toyotas,so its your call but i wouldnt buy it unless its had a major overhaul such as a valve job,new gaskets(head...intake etc).
