Automotive Plastics/Affordable reproduction of tail light lenses

Question
Octavio,
In an answer dated 1/28/2009 you answered a query on reproducing tail light lenses.  In that answer you alluded to an E book in which said this information would be included.  What is the "E book" and has the info been included yet?  If so where can I obtain a copy of the "E book".

Thanks,
Loyd

Answer
hi again Loyd,
Thank you for being so patient. Unfortunately, I need the help of a busy neighbor and colleague who owns a tail light repair shop to accomplish this. I have been also too involved managing  my own business and so far,we have not coincided to take this project any further. Personally, I know the whole process but making this presentable to the public demands making videos, taking pictures, writing and so on. I do not like making promises in vain but there is one thing I can do for the time being: I will include at least the basic procedures, as detailed as I can, concerning tail light lense repair. May be using the fabrication from scratch, of a small lens for a side marker as an example.
I think this will give you a good Idea about materials, tools and so on. Let us say I can have this done in a couple of months. What do you think? will you find this useful?  if you agree,I will let you know as soon as I have done so...

I can answer any question concerning automotive plastics repair on condition that the specific part polymer is identified. However, I can also help in the identifying process of any plastic used in automotive applications (for both body work and under-the-hood). I can't answer a question if it is based only on make or model unless full details are provided.
