Question QUESTION: well hus....was just wondering do you need to do well in your leaving cert...lydia
ANSWER: hey lydia, how's everything going? been up to much? sorry, had a really short message from a lydia jein, thought that was you.
went to switzerland last weekend to an airbase, flew in an F/A-18 over the alps!!! was such good fun.
keep getting stupid questions from ppl like 'is the wage of a pilot enough to live a perfect life'... weird people!!! so don't mind answering any qs from u.
Throughout the training you have to do extremely well in both written exams and the flying. Airlines will look at your marks and some like BA will only accept people who scored above 80% or something throughout. Don't worry bout that though cause if you enjoy flying then you the revision is enjoyable, not like school exams.
Hope you're well

QUESTION: ye might take a lesson this summer,,,but was on a website..it said if I take flying lessons now it wont go towards my PPL license..I have to be 16.
ye was at an air show...REDBULL EXFIGHTER`S it was class..So you had a good time on the British Airways 777 simulater...I would love to go on one...lydia
Answer hey, what website was that? you have to be 16 to get a ppl licence but from 14 yrs old any hours you do will go towards you're ppl, so you can log them. then theroretically on your 16th birthday u can do your ppl exam.
isn't redbull xfighters a motor-cross event? you should go to RIAT in gloucestershire. they hav hundreds of aircraft that u can walk around, sit in the cockpits & even speak to the pilots. it's mainly military but they do have commercial aircraft there also.
yeah the simulator was cool. it feels like u'r flyin a real aircraft. i'm basically starting to sell simulator experiences for BA as well as air displays for weddings & corporate stuff. bout to launch it all, just waiting for the brochures to be printed.
