Question QUESTION: In terms of flight schools, have you heard of jet university? and if yes, what do you think of it?
Also how does it compare to ATP?
ANSWER: I have heard just little about Jet Unuiversity, I have checked their web site, and what they offering if you see video is an written guarantee that after completation of training you will have an F/O pilot job with an airline. On the other side I have heard a lot about ATP. They have a few centers that I have visited. One particulary in Riverside. You see good side with ATP is an excellent training facility for small amount of money. But they are really expecting from you to be on the top of things. They do not have an structured ground training before an flight lesson, meaning you have to study really hard in oredr to catch up with material that you are covering. there is none guarantee that you will get any kind of job at the end of training. You have to understand their job is only to train you to get license and rating and nothing else.
In comparation between two of them in my humble opinion, you will benefit more if you are choose the Jet University, and here is the reasons: They do provide full training in 9 months as they claim on web site, they do have 56 different type rating and training programs for those airplanes, you will be in an structured training environment where you know what kind of schedule will happen in advance, meaning today, we have to cover, aerodynamics of slow fligt on ground, we have to elaborate, demonstrate knowledge and applicability, and finally next lesson later today ill be practical application in slow flight and contralability of airplane in slow flight etc. You got picture. Finally I think the an sigificant factor is written guarantee that give you an advetage that you will be hired by an airline at the end of your training.

-In terms of cost, I think both schools are the same.
-What do you think of the Jet University's training facility? is it as good as ATP?
- What do you think of JET University's 3 month Fast track First Officer program? Do you think its too long compare to ATP's 7 day Accelerated program?
-Also, who do you think is more reputable..Jet U or ATP.
-How about Delta connection Academy? How would you compare DCA with JET U and ATP?

Answer They do guarantee interview, but not employment. That is fine distiction. JET is giving written guarantee to get the job following their video. It is the same for Golfstream academy, they will get you job as an F/O with Golfstream.
Jet University following the web site pics are really nice they do have nice residential rooms for students, ATP does not at the best of my knowledge.
Regarding commercialization and popularity, you can betthat ATP is very known in aviation world for good and also bad things. ATP has strong propaganda machine in aviation magazines they pay fortune on marketing. I have heard about Jet few days ago when you asked me question. Golfstream is very famous, probably more famous then any of them in pilot circles, and reason is they provide full training for airline were they will employ you. So there is no confusion when you get F/O job what and how I need to perform. You will know from day 1wat and how you need perform job.
Golfstram academy aslo has from time totime commercials in aviation magazines, but again when you complete training your job is waiting for you. You will be fully accredited Golftream F/O and that is fantastic jump in airline career.
