Question
I am looking to be a pilot when I leave school and this year i have picked subjects to do GCSE in.
I have picked buisness studies and science and i was wondering if im going in the right direction to become a pilot.
My family say that its just a phase im going through and ill never become a pilot because im not smart enough but is it to late now to change my level of capability and become a pilot ?
I would also like to know what A-Levels are needed?
If you could let me no ASAP it would be great
               Yours sincerely

Answer
Hi Aisling, the subjects you have chosen should be what you need to prepare for a flying career. Most airlines require a university degree and anyone that is smart enough to get through that certainly will have no trouble with the flying education needed.

Check this web site for flying schools that provide a degree in your area. Great Britain I hope.  http://www.balpa.org.uk/intranet/How-to-bec/index.htm
