QUESTION: I have always wanted to learn to fly as a hobby. While I was looking into taking lessons it dawned on me why not do what I love as a carrier not just for fun. Now I have been looking into schools and can not seem to find what I am looking for. I would love to stay in Michigan if possible, and was wondering if you could recomend a school. If none in MI then what would be the next best thing?

ANSWER: Hi Stacey,
I am not very familiar with flight schools in Michigan. what is the largest few airports that are close to you. I can suggest you at least few schools. It really depends what are your goals are. For professional f ight training I would suggest different types of flight training schools.

QUESTION: Hello Ismar,

I would really love to fly private jets or even commercial. I am close to Detroit metro air port, but i have also seen stuff about Western Michigan University. Do you happen to know anything about WMU?

Hi Stacy,
I do not have detailed information about WMU but I have few pilot friends that actually graduated there, and they do saying that university is nice educational facility.
Other the that I do not know anything more then you can see either on their web site.
