Aviation/Flying - Air Force Pilot

Expert: Marc Eichler - 4/4/2006

Question
Im looking to try and become a Pilot in the air force. And then maybe into comercial flying. My question is is competiton high? What are good grades to try and join the air force with?

And what type of questions would they ask you in interviews ? ( And what qualities would they be looking for from these answers)

Thanks
Gareth

Answer
Competition to become an aviator in the air force - or eny branch of the military for that matter - is VERY intense.  Of all the officers who apply for flight training, only a very small number get accepted.  I don't know numbers, but you'll probably need relly high grades.  An Air Force recruiter will be able to help you more.  You can get in contact with one at www.airforce.com .

Regards,
Marc
