Question
My Name is John Delport.

What is the fastest and the cheapest way of become a pilot of an airliner?

Answer
Hi John, sorry this is late, but I just returned from the hospital after getting a new knee.

The fastest way to get the experience and ratings needed to qualify for an airline pilot position is to attend a college that provides a degree as well as the ratings. Embry Riddle is an example of this type of school, but there are many others as well.

If you already have a degree there are many flight schools, including Embry Riddle, that will give you the training necessary to get the ratings. Just Google flight schools for a list.

The least expensive way is through Uncle Sam. Enlist in the Air Force or Navy and they will pay you for getting the training and experience you will need to qualify for the airline pilot postion. Check with your local recruiter for more details.

Hope this helps,  Ned
