Aviation/Flying - CRJ/Learjet instruction

Expert: Ned Dolan - 2/28/2006

Question
I fly MSFS2004 quite often. I am aspiring to become a professional pilot as well.I am trying to find a resource where I can find information on basic systems for the CRJ and Learjet so that I can fly them in flight simulator correctly from startup to shutdown. the only planes i can handle are the Cessna singles and the Piper PA28 and multiengine Seneca V i've installed.moving up to jets would be great experience and a good heads up once i actually start the REAL training on their systems.

Answer
Hi Chris:

I am not aware of any way to get the data you want. Perhaps you could contact the manufacturers. MSF2004 most likely has the data for B737 or other commercial jet.  The flight controls and instruments will be very similar to those on the RJs and using them should provide skills that will easily transfer to the RF panel.   Ned
