Aviation/Flying - Fear of Flying

Question
Dear Paul

Thanks for your response to my questions.
I have one more question. Are professional atheletics planes maintained and serviced more as opposed to a commerical airliner. Is this true?

Answer
dear kenneth,
all commercial planes have to serviced at regular intervals which involves the aeroplane being stripped down to the bare metal and put back together again.
professional bodies tend to use the more well known airlines such as ba or britannia. the england football team use britannia which is a charter airline.
dont worry you are in safe hands. If you still have fears contact the airline you are flying with as they all have fear of flying courses which is a one day thing run by the airline.it usually involves a senior captain talking about the plane with a q & a session. it ends with a short flight around the uk.
you are safer in the air than in your car, so enjoy the view and relax.

regards
Paul
