hi jeff,
my name is ahmed, im just about to finish a degree in engineering but my true passion lies with flying i believe i have the time to do it now. can you give me any advice on how to go by it i.e. what is involved, where is the best place to learn, how long it might take e.t.c. thank you very much and i hope to hear from you soon.

I'm sorry, flight training in the UK is outside my area of expertise. I recommend that you ask the same question to Adrian Beney at Allexperts; I don't know him, but I notice that he specifically lists flight training in the UK as his area of specialty. Sorry I couldn't be of assistance directly, and good luck with your endeavors.

I can answer questions about general aviation, learning to fly, how to get started, and how to buy an airplane. Area of specialty is aerobatic flying. I do not have any expertise in flight training opportunities for students outside the USA, and I am not qualified to offer advice on becoming an airline pilot.

I am no longer active in aerobatic flying, but was formerly a professional airshow performer and aerobatic flight instructor, with extensive experience in Decathlon and Pitts aircraft and light experience in other types. I also competed in IAC sanctioned competition through the Advanced level.
