Question
Hello Jeff

Have you ever flown in a Stearman or Super Stearman?? I am 6'5" and the Citabria at our local club is just too darn small for me.I am considering either buying or building something that will will fit my frame.Aerobatics is secondary but an occasional roll or spin would be fun.
Thanks Jeff
Keep the blue side up

Answer
You're right, I'm six feet and that's about the maximum for a Citabria.  I haven't flown a Stearman, but I suspect it would fit your dimensions better.  Walt Pierce has spent about as much time in Stearmans as anybody, and I imagine he could answer your question with some authority.  E-mail him at wwpierce@strato.net and he can help you out.  If you don't get a satisfactory response, ask me again and I'll find somebody that can give you a definite answer.  Thanks for the question!
