Question
What are my chances of making it to train as a pilot given that im short sighted, I put on specs, im at college finishing my degree programme in Business Management and Info Technology in Dec 2006. Also, I do not have any money to fund myself through the training school, but I hope and pray that by next year I would have raised some money. Please do help me because though im doing BBM&IT I really want to train and work as a pilot. Im in Zimbabwe. I will greatly appreciate your help.

Answer
Needing eyeglasses should not be an obstacle to becoming a civilian pilot.  Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about flight training opportunities for students outside the USA.  I would suggest that you submit the same question to one of the AllExperts who has some international experience.  Good luck with your endeavors!

I can answer questions about general aviation, learning to fly, how to get started, and how to buy an airplane. Area of specialty is aerobatic flying. I do not have any expertise in flight training opportunities for students outside the USA, and I am not qualified to offer advice on becoming an airline pilot.
