Question
Hi Jeff;
My husband Glenn has been a private for 30yrs w/his Cessna 172.  His lifelong dream is to fly the fastest, highest jet possible.  Can we find a place that would spend a day or two with him then get up on the wildest, fastest, highest ride possible?? Would love to give him this gift.  Thank you for any info.

Answer
The only one I know of that offers that kind of thing is the Russian Air Force, but you have to go to Russia, and to say it's expensive would be an understatement.  There are a number of vintage (50's and 60's) fighters flying in the United States, both US military surplus and Soviet bloc aircraft, and there may be one or two that can provide what you're looking for.  Ask me again in about a week if you haven't found what you want, and in the meantime I'll see if I can come up with a better answer.  The Russian option can be found at flymig.com, but I'll look for something stateside.  Thanks for asking, you sound like a "10" wife on a 1-10 scale!
