Aviation/Flying/king vs Sportys

Question
I am confused between getting Sportys Private Pilot course on DVD or the one from King.  Do you have an opinion as which is better?

Answer
I had almost that exact same question a few months ago, but I don't have a good answer, as I have no familiarity with either course.  However, both are reputable outfits with a ton of experience in developing training materials.  I'm sure either will be fine, the main variable is the student's motivation.  If you are dedicated to learning the material and becoming a safe pilot, you'll do well with either course, or, for that matter, without a formal course.  Sorry I couldn't give you a direct answer, but good luck with whatever choice you make.

I can answer questions about general aviation, learning to fly, how to get started, and how to buy an airplane. Area of specialty is aerobatic flying. I do not have any expertise in flight training opportunities for students outside the USA, and I am not qualified to offer advice on becoming an airline pilot.
