Question
Hi Rev Susan Griffin. The question I have is about dating. Ok I am someone that is in tune with the universe in helping me make decisions. A couple months ago, I set a goal to start dating. Before that I set a goal to get a job and I succeeded at that goal after much commitment. In fact, I did it twice. When I set my goal for dating, I put alot of time and energy into and it felt as if I was meeting a brick wall without any responses. I talked to a few people here and there but it would fall flat quickly. I was doing all of it online. Then during december there was this guy who I worked with but in a different department, he out of no where started giving me alot of attention and showing interest in me. It all took me by surprise. I was also still searching online with frustration. Even though the guy showed me alot of interest and it made me feel good I just do not think I would want to date him.
Looking back on it now, I feel that the universe had responded to my intentions but I was just not being receptive to it. I was only expecting the people who I would meet to be online and not in person. I guess a question I sort of have is this common? And also, do you have any other advice on manifesting my goals? Thanks

The main thing I can tell you is that your Divine Self knows more about who and what you need in your life than your human consciousness does. Everyone you meet has something to give and something to receive from you and you from them. A winner is someone who is open enough to do both. Our soul has contracts with others before we arrive on the planet, so even if the person you are talking about isn't someone you think you would date, there has to be a reason he is coming into your life at this time. Perhaps you have something to learn about yourself or others and he is here to give you that experience.
The very best things in life sometimes just find us. Keep me posted.

It is my job on the planet to help people to experience and express their divine selves and become the incredible beings they are meant to become. Perhaps it is your time and this is your channel.
