Whole day i remain normal but when i eat dinner i start sweating and after some time when i go to sleep rapid heart beat starts and i am unable to sleep for a long time. After some time when rapid heart beat stops i go to sleep. I am very worried. It only happens at night and not at daytime.I also experience some vibration in my legs and it is more intense on my left side including heart also. I have no disease. I dont drink or smoke. I am a vegeterian . No family history of heart disease. Only my father is suffering from type 2 diabetes at 50. The only problem i have is that i am overweight by 10 -15 kgs. Please help me.
Answer Hi Pankaj,
The condition is called as tachycardia and you also said that you start perspirating, which is what worries me. Your age does not fall under the age-group of having cardiac ailments but still, I have seen many cases of youngsters affected with heart problems! This could be all due to the lifestyle and dietary habits.
You are vegetarian and do not drink/smoke -another strange thing! Anyway, you have all this problems that is the fact. I strongly suggest you to undergo 2D Echo for a complete heart checkup. Go for lipid profiles and consult cardiologist. If he advises angiography, go for it without any second thought.
Yes, what I can do for you is recommend Ayurvedic approach to tackle this.
Start cardio exercises (no straining) -jogging, cycling and/or swimming will work. This is just to pump it more effectively. Arjunarishta 15 ml twice a day is better for heart. Also, eat pomegranate and dark green leafy vegetables.
Varanadi Kashaya and Arogyavardhini vati (15 ml twice a day and 2 tabs twice a day) is recommended. Eat raw aavla (indian gooseberries, there is a season of this in India, currently). Reduce salt intake and also spicy, junk, oily, cheesy food. Practice anulom vilom pranayama and some yogasanas such as vajrasana, simhasana, bhujangasana, naukasana.
Once done with body profile, consult me, if possible.
