Question
My friend has severe backpain as post operative complication of spinal anaesthesia increasd after working,so i m thinking to give merudand basti.so please sugest ghrut or oil for that with time period,days& internal medicine.thanks

Dear Dr.Amol ji,

Firstly very sorry for the delay in reply.

In my opinion kati vasthi is having very good results in such cases with little of exercises.
Locally start with Chinchadi oil/Panchamla oil for first 2-3 days.Then as the pain subsides change the oil to Narayan oil/Dhanwanthram oil/Sahacharadi oil etc depending on the symptoms.
In the end you can use the Brahmi oil or Ksheer bala oil to heal the damaged nerves.
7-11 days are usually sufficient  for this.Initially start with 20 min and gradually increase to 60 min on the last day.
Internally,
Rasanasaptkam kashyam 15 ml bd with Sciatilon caps/Panchamrit loha gugulu 2 caps/tab.
