Ayurveda/adenoids of my son and treatment

Question
hello sir,
my son has got adenoid and the ent told for an operation which we didn't accept and went for ayurvedic treatment in kerala ayurveda.
we are giving the treatment since 8 months . the doctor told that the adenoids are not getting enlarged but they are shrinking, but my son always had like cold even though using the medicines. he always gets mucous in the nose due to which he has problem in breathing through mouth.for the first 2 months(march and april)in which the weather is hot , he was alright butas the weather gets cold in rainy or winter season, he again gets runny nose, though the nose is not so runny.he always breath through mouth and snores while sleeping. the docotr tells that it is due to the weather and try to keep him warm and once the weather gets hot, he will not get the runny nose.

and to some extent, it is true.i noticed when the weather gets some hot like, when we go our hometown , where the weather is hotter than here in bangalore, he has not much problem. 2 weeks ago,he got fever and to our surprise, he was breathing thruough his nose and there was no snoring for 2 weeks and as soon as the fever subsided, he started snoring again.
one of family doctor also gave some ayurvedic medicines -himalaya septlin , immunocin(gufic),rhinagra syrup(pradruti's) and told to stop the current medicines and try these and see the results.but we not yet started the medicines as the previous conulting doctor said that it will take 2-3 months for the body to adjust to the new medicines. but we are worrying for the altime runny nose and the snoring sound he has during sleep.
right now the ayurvedic medicine we are giving is a tonic mixture of the following medicines, prescribed by the kerala ayurveda doctor:-
-Indukantam kwaith
-Amrutharishtam
-Dasamoolarishtam
-Gulguluthikthakam K-tab
-Biogest tab

kindly tell us weather these medicines will work for the adenoids of my son and weather we should give a try to the new medicines prescribd by our family doctor??/

Answer
Dear Shalini ji,

Every physician has his own way of thinking and his own line of treatment. No one of the above mentioned treatment is wrong.
Your family physician is right at his own place but these are very basic medicines and these are very good in increasing the immunity of a person. But here we can to give relief to your kid who is gasping for real oxygen.
The Kerala doctor is very right but he is stuffing the little kid.

Indukantham kashyam is the best option for ur kid. This should be given in the morning. In the evening Dashmoolakadutryam kashyam should be given.
Swasanandan gulika to be given in the morning and Nardiya laxmi vilas rasa one pill in the evening.
steam at bed time daily.
Rasnadi choornam one pinch to be rubbed in the middle of scalp (dry) after bath.

This will probably shoe you the results in 2 weeks only.
