QUESTION: Hello Doctor, I have a Urethral stricture from past 7 years. I had taken the Uttarbasti Treatment for around 6 months. But the results are not very satisfactory. I have read in one of your article, that Urethral stricture can be treated with " Brihatyadi Kashyam " oral treatment. Can you please provide more information on this? Do you recommend me to go for Surgery or Try for this option?

ANSWER: Dear Raj,

Urinary stricture can be cured with some Ayurveda medicines.Previously i have treated few patients with Brihatyadi kashyam etc.Later i have developed few more combination depending on patients conditions to cure this disease which are giving better results.I am giving Mantra puta to medicnes for best results.

Howz ur Appetite?
3 Times Rice with normal vegitables. I am a vegetarian.

Howz ur Thirst?
I drink 2-3 liters of water every day.

Howz ur bowel movements?
Normal. No problem with it.

Howz ur urine output?
Weak. When the bladder is full, to empty it, it takes around 1:30 mins.

Howz ur urine stream/flow?
Not very thin. But when there is overheating in body, stream is weak.

Color of urine?
Normal.

Is ur urination painful ?
Not very painful.Only sometimes.

QUESTION: Hello Doctor, My collegues will be coming very frequently here. I can ask them to bring the medicines. I am currently using Chandrabravati. I can also order medicines online via ayurvedic online shopping. I think somehow i can manage to get the medicines. That should not be a problem. I have recently ordered four bottles of Bhrityhadi Kashyam. But i have not started using them yet.

Its good that you have already got Brihatyadi kashyam with you.
Take 15 ml of this kashyam with 100 ml of warm water one hour before meals twice a day.
Bangshil (Alarsin) 2 tab twice along with this kashyam.
Chanderprabha vati  one tab of 500 mg at bed time with milk.

After 20 days do let me know the progress.

Try to take only warm water through out the day.
Avoid rice,sour food items.
