Ayurveda/Treatment for kidney stones

Dear Doctor,
In 1995, my mother underwent shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) treatment to remove a 10.5mm stone in right kidney. Now again,my mother has been diognised with a 12mm stone & a 4mm in left kidney & a 7mm stone in right kidney.Allopathic doctors advises to undergo ESWL again to remove the available kidney stones. But my mother is afraid that she might not recover from the side effects of ESWL due to her old age( 60yrs).

Whether any effective medicines are available in ayurvedha that can remove/dissolve 12mm stone? My mother is taking Cystone tablet for around 8 months without any improvement.

Kindly advise us with your valuable opinion in this background.

Thanks & regards,

Dear Friend,

Kidney stone of size more than 6 mm is difficult to treat.Clinically we have seen very remote chances. But you can try with Neeri 2 tabs thrice a day for one month only and then check the size with USG,if there is improvement then you can take for 2 months more other wise go for surgery.
