Ayurveda/Dried fruits

Question
Dear Dr. Dehal,
may I ask a quick follow-up to my previous question please? Can dried fruits like raisins, dates, figs, and prunes be eaten together with fresh fruits? I understand these dried fruits take longer to digest.
If this is not advised, can they be steamed/stewed together with the fresh fruits, and eaten together?
Thank you again for all your help.
Sincerely,
Aaron

Answer
Raisins, dates, figs and prunes can be taken with fresh fruits as these comparatively takes less time to digest. There is no need to steam these simply soaking in water for some time is sufficient to maintain its madhur and sheet gunas.Steaming/stewing might change its sheet guna.
