QUESTION: Thank you,

1. How come people always say to get rid of water retention you need to drink MORE water, now less?

2. Am I hurting any of the doshas if I drink to little water? If wich one?

ANSWER: 1. It is said cos the intention is to increase urine output. But with that it is not sufficient.But we have to take some diuretic along with that.
2. By taking too little water you are hurting Pitha dosha.

QUESTION: 1. Wich are the best ways to dry the body? Exercise, meal skipping, drink less water..do you know any more?

2. Sometimes I dont drink even if I am thirsty because I feel so light in my body and the swelling is gone. Is it unhealthy to ignore thirst? If I get just a little to much fluid, I will swell.

For drying the body there are 10 ways-
Exercise,fasting,drinking less water,sun bathing,running,powder massage,sweating etc.

Yes,it is unhealthy to ignore thirst.If you ignore thirst then it might cause another problem.So try to find the cause of excessive thirst and remove that cause.
