I own two males and it might sound like a dumb question but how many times a day, or a week, can a man masturbate?

It's not a dumb question at all, but it is hard to answer. I can't tell you a specific number, because it depends on the man. Interest in masturbation is tied to a man's age, physical condition, emotional state  and other aspects of his life. And even two men who are similar in those respects could have different wants and needs.

You might have to test each of your subs to get a baseline. Be up front about what you're doing, so they don't hurt themselves trying to please you. Also, be careful not to accidentally set them up for failure by telling them you have certain expectations for their performance. Just tell them you're collecting information, keep communication open, give permission, and observe.
