Thank you for coming to me with your question.

A very easy way to signify your status would be to wear a triskelion, a BDSM symbol that is readily recognized by most people in the lifestyle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BDSM_Emblem).  Wearing the emblem by itself will mark you as a practitioner of the BDSM lifestyle, to those who are familiar with its meaning.  To further mark you as a submissive, you might wear it attached to a choker necklace, or wear a choker or a scarf along with a triskelion pin on your lapel.  Collars and ankle bracelets used to be good for this sort of thing, but they have become such a fashion statement that they have become almost useless for identifying those in the lifestyle.

If you are a gay male, do a web search on hanky codes.  In some similar circles, a Dominant would wear a single earring on the left ear while a submissive would wear one on the right ear.  Some of these things are particular to the area in which you live.  If you are not already involved, I suggest that you find a BDSM group that meets in your area.  (You can find a listing of such groups, by state, at http://www.drkdesyre.com)  Here you might find people who could tell you local customs, if there are any.
