Dear Oscar G.,

Next week, I'll finally see my girlfriend again after a long time of absence. Of course we already decided to spend a special evening between the two of us! This time, however, I really want to surprise her. She is quite a bit into BDSM, and asked me if I could tie her onto a chair before I have my way with her. I'm trying to come up with something adequate for quite a while now, but to be honest, I had no good ideas at all.

First of all, I wanted to ask you if there are ways to tie her to a chair and still have the possibility to get more intimate with her than just touching or teasing. Is there a position I could tie her in that would still allow us to have sex, and that is not too uncomfortable?

Secondly, I'd like to know what kind of games I could play with her once she is tied, besides using some of our toys on her. Do you have any original ideas?

Well while not exactly original, the answer to you query may rely on not sitting her in the usual position in the chair, unless you and her are really attached to the idea of of sitting on a chair the classic 'seat on the bottom' position. Sitting and tying her could be sexy and classic images, but you are right, of not being quite friendly for sex.
Unless it is a very special shaped chair or open the right ways an to allow you access to her or your mouth. Besides who is to say tying to a chair meant sitting by the bottom  <wink>? One has to be creative, and throw her off guard a bit <smile>. So as i said previously, depending on the chair,  activities planned, toys or gear used; you will have to positioned her and tie her to the chair in creative ways... Consider 2 things, the activities you want to play, and the chair itself. My best recommendation would be to kneel in the chair seat and tie her arms/hands to the back of the chair. In that way her butt can be up in the air, or keel to rest without being too uncomfortable for either of you. This allows free access to her backside, insertion of toys, spanking, canning, flogging, and sexual access too. Depending on the chair you would have to find how to tie, and adjust her position because of height or shape of chair and your individual heights. A small variation is to tie her arms to the legs of the chair and her calves too, basically making her bend over tied to the chair unable to lift. Unless she is strong or the chair flimsy. That position also allows the same level of access as mentioned before.

Another more complex situation could be a chair you can recline and position her body  and hips to the edge of the bottom of the chair basically making her knees  bend out and legs spread.
