QUESTION: Greetings Master Shadow,

i am new to the lifestyle,met someone on a dating site and shared with him what lifestyle i'm interested in only after we spent some time together and i could see that i trusted him. Now it seemed we were at the same level but he seems to have lost interest saying that i don't show initiative or put any effort in this lifestyle. In a way he's right, i kind of slacked off because i thought we were moving to fast...him wanting me to call him Sir in front of my family is just an example, we're just beginning and i didn't even know if i wanted that now...i am submissive, i do care about him and feel he would be the one person i want to love, serve and obey but i'm in need of some serious education & guidance on this subject. At this point that's all i'm asking of you, guidance.

QUESTION: At this point i need training resources, i want to be a good submissive, maybe certain books i can read, sites i can visit that might be a bit educational....anything that can teach me more about submission

As far as books go, anything by Jack Rinella, or Jay Wiseman would be in order. SM 101 by Jay Wiseman is a very good book, as is The Complete Slave, by Jack Renilla.

As far as sites go, Submissiveloving.com is fairly good source of information, as is gloria-brame.com. Another is steel-door.com. There is also Bondage.com, which is a kink/chat site.

There are a few videos as well. One is a documentary, called BDSM. Alternative Loving. It is a well made documentary that shows a real time Lifestyle relationship
