BDSM/Masters who train slaves for others.
Expert: arani_CsA - 2/18/2008
QuestionI've just read a Q/A dated 4/19/07 where you discuss Masters who train slaves for others. I've been looking for that for quite some time now and have not been able to find something. Do you have recommendations? Or pointers, at least? In particular, I would be interested to know who that particular Master is who was referred to in that Q.
Thank you, in advance, for you time and reply.
AnswerHello...
Thank you for coming to me with your question. I hope I can help you find the answers you are looking for.
It's been almost a year since I answered the question you referred to, so I have to confess that I had to go back and review what I said at that time. I still stand by my answer, although I will try to clarify a few things and apply them to your particular situation.
As to the particular Master mentioned in the original question, I have no knowledge of who he is or where he lives. He was someone referred to by the questioner without identifying him. And since all questioners remain anonymous, I cannot refer you to him for more information in that regard. Neither is it appropriate for me to recommend any one person or organization. However, hopefully I can direct you to those who can.
My suggestion would be to get involved with a BDSM group meeting in your local area, and find out if there is anyone there who trains slaves for others or who knows someone who does. (You can find a listing of such groups, by state, at
http://www.drkdesyre.com) You do want to be very careful about choosing such a person, and make sure to get personal references from Masters (and slaves) who have had interactions with him. Ask how he chooses candidates for training, and what happens to them after their training is finished. Also, ask how many candidates do not complete their training, as well as why they don't complete it and what happens to them after they "wash out." Find out exactly what his training involves -- what is taught, and what methods are used to teach it?
To be honest, my Master and i are not overly enthusiastic about the concept of a Master having someone else train his slave. There are a couple of reasons for this: Slave training is not something that can be accomplished in a finite period of time, with a prescribed curriculum. Instead, training is something that continues throughout a Master/slave relationship, as the slave grows and changes over time. Speaking personally, I have belonged to my Master for almost eight years, and still consider myself to be in training -- not only in new and exciting ways of providing service, but also in dealing with changing emotions and ideas as my Master and I grow older.
Training your slave is an invaluable way of learning what makes her tick, and what tools can be used to bring her more and more under your control. It's also essential for solidifying her attachment to you, as well as her submission and surrender. It's not at all unusual for a Master to discover that his slave has given her submission not to him, but to the man who trained her. And transferring that submission to someone else can be very difficult. The more you demonstrate to your slave the extent of your power over her, the more she bows to your will, and the deeper her devotion to you. And, regardless of how well someone else trains her, you will invariably find yourself having to teach her any number of little things that the trainer didn't think of.
Now, professional trainers can be useful for teaching certain specific skills that you don't feel qualified to. For example, you may want your slave to be able to perform a Japanese tea ceremony, so you would seek out the services of someone who is knowledgeable in such things. Or you may want your slave to be able to give you a sensual massage, or learn to cook, or to manage your business affairs. When it comes to things like taking 500 lashes from a cane, or being able to tolerate intricate rope bondage, this is definitely something you do NOT want to entrust to someone else -- this is something you most assuredly want to do together. For, while she is learning to take those 500 lashes, you are also learning how to tell when to stop so that you do not cause her permanent damage, or how hard to strike her to provoke just the right amount of pain.
The training process should begin with the selection of the right slave for you. If a woman has a strong aversion to foot worship, for example, all of the training in the world won't teach her to enjoy licking your bare toes. If she has a heart condition, then teaching her to tolerate intensive S/m scenes will only produce disastrous results. If she has a career that she is proud of, and worked long years to establish, asking her to give that up to become your house slave is unlikely. Instead, you should make a list (at least mentally) of the characteristics you are looking for in a slave, and what kinds of service you are looking for, and find a prospective slave who already comes close to that ideal. Then, training her in the specifics of that service will come easily to both of you.
There is one more benefit to training your own slave -- a very big benefit. While you are training your slave, you will also be training yourself. You will be learning everything there is to know about your slave: how she thinks, how she moves, how she responds to discipline and what kinds of discipline she responds to best. You may find that she has a hidden talent that you can make use of, or that she has a way of doing something that you might not have realized by having someone else supervise these formative first steps toward slavery. And you will inspire her to love you, and serve you, because of who you are and what you do -- instead of because someone else told her to.
I hope my words have been helpful to you. If you have any further questions, feel free to send them my way.
