Question
Thank you so much for your help. I have another question.
I cannot afford a lawyer at all. I was wondering if you had any other links for people in my situaiton or links of lawyers who have dealt with alternative lifestyle and custody.

Answer
I'm sorry, Teri, I don't have any additional resources. Try the link to the list of support groups. If you find one within a reasonable distance, get in touch with the organizers or post on the discussion board if they have one. Someone may be able to suggest a lawyer who will help you for little or no fee or who will take payments over time. Some groups will even help raise money for legal fees. You'd need  a lawyer even if BDSM wasn't involved probably. From all I've heard or read, having an attorney when BDSM is involved is very important.

Some of the other experts here are very involved in the local BDSM community. You might want to ask Master Shadow or Kayra if they have ideas about making connections.

I wish you all good luck.

Expertise

I can answer questions related to the practice of BDSM, especially involving relationship issues and personal interactions. My expertise is in helping people sort out thoughts and feelings, define problems and find solutions. I'm happy to apply my BDSM knowledge and experience to this. I'm not the best person for questions dealing with mechanical contraptions, the physics of BDSM or Gor related matters.

Experience

Seventeen years of real time, face to face practice of BDSM in my own personal relationships, 4 years of professional experience in distance training.

Education/Credentials
My traditional education includes both a bachelor's and master's degree. I have no formal education in BDSM. I know what I know from interacting with experienced players, reading, and hands on experience.
