Question
Where is a good place to meet subs to share stories and become friends with so that the transition from being a new sub is better understood?

Answer
Hello...

Thank you for coming to me with your question.  i hope i can help you find the answers you are looking for.

Meeting other subs for friendship and for learning is very important.  None of us can live in a vacuum, regardless of our lifestyle.  And it's always good to hear advice from those who have been where we're going, and can give us tips on how to find a good Master or deal with all of these new feelings.

One way to find friends is on line.  There are many, many discussion groups around the net geared toward different aspects of the lifestyle.  You can find some for Masters and subs (or slaves), some for slaves or subs only, some that are nothing more than personal ads designed to help prospective Masters and subs meet, and so on.  You can find groups for service-oriented subs, pain sluts, those who enjoy bondage or are toilet slaves, and so on.  Doing a web search will help you find some of these groups.  One nice thing about this is that you can preserve your anonymity -- no one needs to know your real name or where you live.  (And, in fact, it's usually safer to keep things this way.)

But, even better is to find a group that meets in your area, where you can attend various events with others who share your interests.  You can talk to both Masters and subs face to face, see how they interact with each other, see forms of play that you've only read about previously, and meet prospective Masters.  You can find a listing of such groups, by state, at http://www.drkdesyres.com  These groups will usually have an internet site, either for announcements or for discussion.  They will also get together for something called a "munch," so called because it's usually held at a local restaurant where everyone gets together to socialize over dinner.  And they may have play parties, either as a group, or held by different individuals for those they trust.  Some of these people will be "out," or openly acknowledge their lifestyle with the general public, but many will value their privacy as much as you do -- and will respect yours as well.

Good luck to you, and if you have any more questions, feel free to send them my way.

Expertise

I am available to answer any questions you might have about Master/slave relationships. While my Master and I are Gorean, I have intimate knowledge of other forms of consensual slavery as well. I can offer advice in the areas of learning to come to an understanding of one's slave nature, learning how to best please one's owner, and other problems that come up in the day-to-day life of a slave.

Experience

I was collared by my Master on May 6, 2000, and on Nov. 8, 2003 became his wife as well. Prior to that time, I wore the collars of two other men.

Publications
My website, which can be located at http://www.geocities.com/dancer_of_gor/index.html

Education/Credentials
I have an advanced degree in the health professions. In addition, I have been a slave for over ten years, and during that time was trained by three different Masters with regards to slavery in general as well as how to serve them in particular. One of these Masters required me to train the other slaves in his chain.

Awards and Honors
At one time, I was given the rather dubious honor of being voted the "Sexiest Slave" in Yahoo Gor. I don't take this too seriously, and don't encourage anyone else to do so either.
