Question
I am new to the lifestyle and was wondering if there was any protocol to the wearing of a slave anklet?  Should it be worn on the left or the right or does it matter? Is the significance the same as collaring?  Thank you.

Answer
As far as I know, there is no set protocol for anklets. Usually, it's the Dominants choice as to where you wear the anklet, or EVEN if you are allowed to wear it. There are no actual codes, or such that are universally accepted by everybody. Certain protocols are used in different states, or even different countries, but there is none that I know of that specifically demands that anklets, wristbands, or anything else MUST be worn in this manner, or that manner.

I would suggest asking your Dominant where They would like you to wear it. If you have no Dominant, then try wearing the anklet on the right, to symbolize submissive. This is not set in stone, but some do actually notice things like that. There are many sites online that speak of this code, or that code, but none are actually universally accepted, so, you are pretty much free to wear the anklet as you wish.

I hope this helps.
