Question
my wife has ben a submissive for years!!! i am new to bdsm so i dont understand she wants to be a slave slut in the room !!!! out side the room she says she dose not want to be talked or treated like a slave but is constantly asking for permishion to do things ...what should i do ????

Hmmm

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds as though she wants to do Master/slave roleplay in the bedroom only, at this point. Nothing wrong with that. It can ease her into the role. It's interesting that she seems to carry some of this outside the bedroom, and I suspect that you will be able -- over time -- to work into a full-time Master/slave structure, if you so choose.

There are a few good books on the Master/slave dynamic that I would recommend to you. If you go to Amazon, look up Guy Baldwin, Jack Rinella and Robert Rubel you'll have a nice selection. Some comments: Guy's book (SlaveCraft: Roadmaps for Erotic Servitude--Principles, Skills and Tools) is very cerebral and more about being a slave. He is a practicing psychotherapist. My favorite of Jack's books is: Becoming a Slave. Rubel has a four-book series on Master/slave relations: three of them come up on Amazon with the search: "Master/slave relations." The other is Protocols for the Female slave: Handbook of Theory and Practice. Of these, I'd strongly suggest that you start with the first book, which is: Master/slave Relations: Handbook of Theory and Practice. That book is specifically intended for people considering setting up a "structured relationship" as it's called. It also explains how this Master/slave structure has grown up in this country.

You might consider joining a local BDSM group. Just do an Internet search with BDSM and the name of your city as the search criteria. The two of you will want to explore the difference between M/s and Dominance and submission (D/s).

There are six weekend conferences a year devoted to Master/slave studies and culture. There, you will find hundreds of people for whom this is a normal/usual practice.
