i'm trying to write an application to Sir for possibly becoming his boy. i was wondering if there is specific protocol, how it should be set up, any specific rules or guidelines. Sir is Old Guard. i would like to be as accurate as possible. Any information you may have would be of great help.

There are no specific protocols when you write out a petition. You should speak from your heart listing things that matter to you when you think about what it is your looking for.

Here is an example for a petition for a weekend offered to someone

Sir

I am writing you seeking permission to be allowed to spend time with you, giving you my body, mind for an agreed upon time period in order to be in service to you. This is but not limited to any form of D/s relationship with limits agreed upon prior to the weekend. I shall agree to any rules prior to the meeting that are given to me to help enhance the time we are together as long as it doesn’t affect the relationship directly with my slave. This includes sexual release prior to the visit.

Reasons to why I think I need you to take me in would be.

I have a feeling of being lost in direction.

I need to feel the ability to serve one in whom I trust.

The need to release all responsibility, in order to do this I need to be able to give that responsibility to another.

Although I know this is something I want, I cannot seem to find the words in which I am looking for. This is for me a chance to get away and change certain things in which I can’t do that here. I have talked about giving up responsibility for a time period although I haven’t really considered it until I talked with you. So with that I am offering you this in hopes that you will grant me the opportunity to do be of service to you hopefully soon.

Mind you this is simply a time period although it describes what the person is looking for in the relationship.

Your needs/desires/hope/dreams should be listed in the application along with that you feel you can bring to the relationship. Your limits, your fears,
