Hello, I am just coming to realize the truth about myself, I am submissive. There I said it out loud so to speak. I need some good information on the BDSM scene I have lots of questions I need answers for both in how i feel and how to proceed, at the present time I have nowhere reliable to look for them. Tried chatting online once only, got bombarded and put off for now. Being a newbie I really need some informed info on good websites, chat places, books that would help me on my journey. I hope you can help me. thanks in advance.

First i applaud you for reaching out for more information and for saying out loud your truth.. very powerful. I can also imagine you are saying now what? smiles

Taking those frist steps can be difficult but i think you are on the right track.

The books i recommend are written by peple i have known over the years... Bear in mind that most of these books at slave focused.. but in reading then there is some good info for the average submissive just starting out. I also would like to share that alot that is out there is very play focused and where as i feel that is ok it doesnt really speak to the internal workings of a submissive and slave...

There are literally thousands out there but these seem to have active message boards on the broadest subjects pertaining to submission at various levels.

The last of my suggestions is to find a group in your area.

Groups:

Not knowing were you are at i can't give you specific groups but i would recommend googling BDSM and your city and state.. this should bring up a list of groups in your area or within driving distance of your home. I really like the way because it gives the person a chance to actually see and talk to people who are submissive and who are dominant in real time.. How do they do it? What does all of this mean to them plus i think there is a safety factor when you are exploring in that people who belong to groups tend to be far more accountable then say someone you meet online. In my opinion
